Welcome to Manila, Maeryl! 🌞

I was looking everywhere as we rode a taxi going to QC. I read every single signage, stared at every structures, and tried hard memorizing every places.
Not to mention my astonishment on how big this city is.
As we travel along EDSA, I’m tryna absorb the fact that I’m in the Ph’s Capital. I’m tryna think what my life would be, now that I am here. I’m drowned with all these thoughts coming from my what if’s and anxiousness.
I am truly out of my comfort zone now. It’s time to step out from my cocoon and spread my wings and fly.
Saying goodbye to my parents was so dang hard. I cried. I’m gonna miss them so much. I’m gonna miss home. But I need to be strong for my own growth and goals. I can do this. 💪

New Step

This is so on point with what I will be doing tomorrow. I’ll be starting off my journey somewhere far away from home, alone and independent.
Half of me wants to stand on my own feet and be free, the other half is pessimistic and scared.
I’ll be going out from my comfort zone, and
I don’t know what will be the outcome nor what the future holds but I know that I can pull this off. I just need to focus on my goals and think of all the stuff that motivates me in the first place. It’s all about perspective after all.
Chill life will be over, tomorrow real life will begin. So bless my journey. 👣🙏
